1/18 Recruit In-Barracks Course 2018

2018, 24th - 25th February,  - 28 new recruits got together on the weekend to learn new skills to start them off on their 'military' journey with the LCCC.

Despite the unpredictable wet weather, everything ran smoothly and recruits and staff managed to keep dry.

20th Anniversary Dining-In Night 2018

On the 10th of March 2018, the Logan City Community Cadets Inc. celebrated its' 20th Anniversary with pomp and ceremony at the Greenbank RSL Gala Room.

Commanding Officer LTCOL (LCCC) Trevor Schulze and his wife, Jennifer were among-st the VIPS, Deputy Mayor Cherie Dalley, Major Martin May of the Queensland Bushmen Cadets, Mr Ron Lord of the Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch and Mr Nigel Longhorn of the VV & VMc.

Ex Shakeout 2018

Exercise Shakeout 18 (EXSO18) was a Battalion HQ conducted exercise incorporating two levels of training activities for the Company Field Training Group (CFTG) and the 1/18 Rec Fd Trg Cse (1/18 RFTC) at the LCCC FTA, SSAA property, (Stewartdale), Ripley Rd; Ripley over the weekend 23 – 25 Mar 18.

During the weekend's exercise, cadets participated in a variety of challenging activities, involving bush/field craft, minor military skills, first aid, engineering, navigation and QDE appropriate to their level.
