The tests for these skills are done in a variety of ways; however running field exercises to test the cadet’s ability is the best proven method for the cadet unit.

The unit conducts up to 6 weekend exercises per year which can include recruit training, field/bush craft, navigation, survival, leadership, military skills, range shoots and cadet challenges.

A 6 monthly Parade Card (Jan-Jun & Jul-Dec) outlining the weekend exercises, HT Parade nights & other unit activities can be obtained from the Unit Reception Desk.
