SUPPORT  arrow

Part of the ethos and charter of the unit is to remember and respect our past and present servicemen and women. Hence, our involvement in military events is paramount. We are very proud of the commitment and involvement our cadets display to our local military community. Our unit supports the following local organisations:

The support we give to these organisations helps to instill in the cadets, a sense of pride in Australia, ex and current serving members of the ADF and in themselves. It encourages a united civic-mindedness amongst the cadets, creating an enthusiastic and patriotic group of community involved young men and women. The cadets conduct Catafalque Party for ANZAC day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day, precision rifle drill teams, and we also fundraiser for Legacy. As a active member of the community, the cadets are also heavily involved with other non-military community events, such as those arranged by Logan City CouncilBunnings and Greenbank Show Society. We regularly take part in these “fun days”, displaying the skills of the precision rifle drill teams, ammunition/uniform displays, field equipment and tents, and face painting.
